Gliders @ UNSW Research Team
specialise in issues relating to the captive care and management of Sugar
Gliders (
Petaurus breviceps) as domestic companions (pets). At the
University of New South Wales, we are part of an educational institution
that has a national and international reputation for quality education
and research in many fields.
Research Goals
The main goal of our research team is to discover more about the care of Sugar Gliders in captivity and
other factors that influence their suitability as pets. Through this we aim to provide opportunities
